One of my favorite combinations would be black hair and pale blue eyes. Dayle Haddon (orginally from Canada) added full pouty lips to the mix making her a star model (and later actress) first in Europe and then America in the 1970’s and 80’s.

Her sexy romantic looks got her on the cover of every Vogue and Bazaar throughout Europe and she was the muse to photographers Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton.

Worked for American cosmetic companies, Revlon, Max Factor,
Estee Lauder and L’Oreal. A record for one model to work for all four.

Dayle made a big comeback in the late 80’s doing anti-aging campaigns first for Clairol, Estee Lauder and then L’Oreal, which continues to this day.

She is the founding President of Dayle Haddon Concepts, Inc., a multi-media company whose aim is to promote the philosophy that “Beauty progresses as we age – continually shifting and changing as we grow.” Haddon hopes to empower women to realize their full potential, irrespective of age, race, or life circumstance. Her first successful book Ageless Beauty by Dayle Haddon, and then The Five Principles of Ageless Living have made her an expert on being beautiful at any age. So now Dayle travels the world as a spokesperson for L’Oreal, and still finds time to be Grandmother to two grandchildren by her daughter Ryan Slater (see photo above).
