Glitter Finger?…

I found this solid glitter face over at the MakeupBag. It reminds me of the James Bond movie GOLDFINGER…the man with the midas touch. The actress Shirley Eaton’s golden moment comes when she meets her untimely end as she’s suffocated by 24k gold paint and succumbs to epidermal suffocation (don’t worry it’s a fictitious cause of death). Though certainly tragic, in terms of celluloid death scenes, this ranks as one of the most beautiful ways to go.

Linda Evangelista L’Oréal Ambassador…

L’Oréal Paris is thrilled to welcome Linda Evangelista as the brand’s new international spokesperson.
“First and foremost, Linda is set to become the face of De-maq’Expert, the new line of revolutionary cleansers presented in stylish black boxes. A veritable fashion icon around the globe, Linda will bestow her beauty on the Preference Diamond Shine and Feria Color Guard hair colour ranges. Equally, she will become the Ambassadress for L’Oréal Paris cosmetics with her Color Riche Star Secrets lipstick, Glam Shine lip gloss, and her Color Appeal eye shadow and Double extension mascara.”
“Linda Evangelista is ‘the’ fashion icon. For twenty years she has reigned over the catwalks, gracing them with assurance and elegance. The captivating combination of her face, her gaze, her alluring feline poise and her incontestable talent have rendered her ‘the’ Top Model… the uber supermodel. Aside from such beauty appreciated amongst thousands, I thought it important to have a face that exuded ‘fashion’ beside the most renowned cinematic actresses. This is a strategic facet of the brand which we had to develop further. At last, at 41 years of age, Linda’s rich, full life has turned her into the woman with whom all women can identify” states Youcef Nabi, International Managing Director of L’Oréal Paris.

“I am pleased to be joining the incomparable L’Oréal Paris team. I am also proud to associate my image with a company whose values and openness to diversity are concerns that I share. I use L’Oréal Paris cosmetic and hair products; the combination of expertise and glamour is what attracts me and millions of other women every day. To be associated with such a talented and beautiful group of women is truly an honour.” states Linda Evangelista.

Marion Next To Leave Project Runway…
![]()
Marion Lee of Tyler Texas was declared “out” by Project Runway’s Season 4 judges (along with guest judge Sarah Jessica Parker) during a team challenge. The knit “Pocahontas costume” (to quote Michael Kors) just didn’t translate well from the original sketch, according to Sarah Jessica. Host Heidi Klum seemed particularly disturbed by the design and kept repeating that it looked “dirty and like something out of the basement”. Not that I think much of Heidi’s taste level after seeing her wear this corker recently. The most I can say for Marion is that at least he didn’t hesitate to take full responsibility for the project. Which was the best thing he’s done on the show, because his design from the previous weeks challenge was kind of a mess too.

The winners were Victorya and her partner “the straight” Kevin. Victorya designed the most commercial looking piece (I’ll bet Kevin just made the vest) that “may or may not be sold” along with SJP’s BITTEN clothing line at Steve & Barry’s. Don’t be so excited Victorya…their ripping you off.

Meanwhile Marion’s challenge partner, Steven, who “does not have any formal design training” and who’s “passion and unique curiosity for all things fashionable” was of absolutely no help to Marion. But he does get to stay around for another week. Steven also gets noticed by the Rungay boys for being a “dream boat”. Which “may or may not” be a consolation to him.
