They Put The Avant In Avant Garde…

I couldn’t think of a more perfect team then Chris and Christian for this challenge to create something “avant garde” taking inspiration from the models hairstyle. And then half way into the challenge they were told they would have to have a second more commercial look inspired by their first design. It was so easy for Chris to go for the bold with his costume experiance, while Christian added just the right note of fashion chic. Which made them the winning combo. Even if the second outfit was a little weak, the couture one was killer. Bravo boys.

The gruesome twosome (the two of them together gave me a toothache), Victorya and Jillian were a very close second runner-up. But I must say, that coat was so fierce it didn’t need whatever that was under it. The second look was just OK. Fine.

Rami is going to be Rami even if it kills Sweet P…and the design challenge.
Nice but not couture. Loosen up dude. However, I was impressed with Sweet P’s accomplishments on the second dress, for a change. I think strict Rami actually helped her to focus…when left alone for a minute. You go Sweet P!

Unfortunately Kit and Ricky just don’t understand the concept of couture. Well, it’s not for every designer. Kit was auffed for that sad looking hoop skirt. And the second dress was not much either. But I think I saw Ricky start crying a little as they left the runway. Tears for Kit, awwww. Sweet.

I think the back of the dress looked better actually. Bye bye Kit honey.
